The Nines Bar, Restaurant & Boutique Hotel has a new Sunday Menu, and it was, as we’ve come to expect from this Bangor seafront gem, really rather excellent.

To begin, we had golden, crunchy Tiger Prawn Tempura with chipotle mayo, rocket and cucumber salad, and a platter of glistening Sicilian Nocarella Olives & salsa verde with some delicious Bakari sourdough bread.
For the main event, we enjoyed a Pan Seared Salmon with garden peas, baby gem, potatoes and a lemon butter cream, and a moist Herb Roasted Chicken Supreme, with mushroom duxelle, parsnip purée, creamy mash and roasting juices gravy. All Sunday Roast options are served with roasties, honey glazed root vegetables, and cauliflower cheese.
To finish, the White Chocolate Cheesecake was light and creamy served with passionfruit and a tangy orange sorbet.
