D’Arry’s Restaurant & Wine Bar, Cambridge.
On our recent visit to Cambridge, we were keen to try d’Arry’s; an intriguing artisan Cheesemongers, independent restaurant, and liquor loft right in the centre of Cambridge, where affineur Perry Wakeman’s carefully selected cheeses are used in many of the restaurant’s dishes.

We started with a few sharing snacks; some crunchy deep fried Frickles with Harissa Mayonnaise, Warm Roasted Butternut Squash Salad with Pomegranate, Roasted Cauliflower, & Crispy Kale, on Hummus sprinkled with Pumpkin Seeds, and juicy King Prawns in a spicy Garlic & Chilli Oil with d’Arry’s Sourdough.

Of course, it would have been a sin not to have ordered one of d’Arry’s Cheesemonger Fondues, with its blend of Ogleshield, Isle Of Mull Cheddar, & Mayfield Cheeses, served with Sourdough, Crispy Potatoes, Garlic Mushrooms, Chilli Seasoned Broccoli, and Cornichons to dip in the hot cheesy sauce. Delicious!
And the Roast Half Chicken with a Rosemary & Guinness Glaze accompanied by Fennel Slaw, and Poacher 50 Cheese & Truffle Fries was also terrific.
D’Arry’s menu champions sustainable seafood, locally sourced meat, seasonal vegetables, and of course outstanding cheeses, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable experience in this quirky King Street venue.
