Modal and Nekter Wines have joined forces to collaborate in offering over 400 natural, minimal intervention wines.
We were recently invited to a trade tasting event in Banana Block at Portview Trade Centre to sample over 40 of the wines from the full Modal and Nekter Wines range. All natural with minimal intervention, John from Modal and Roman from Nekter took us through samples of their full ranges of red, white, orange, rosé, and sparkling wines.
Currently orders for Modal and Nekter Wines are open to Northern Ireland Trade customers, but they are looking to be able to deliver mixed cases to NI customers before Christmas – so watch this space !

Delivery information
Delivery is £10, or free on orders over £175. London deliveries take 1-2 business days, the rest of the country is 2-3 business days*.
Please note: Our minimum order for home delivery is £58 (+ shipping).

Nekter Wines
Nekter supply Minimal Intervention Wines From California, Australia and South Africa Produced Sustainably in a Way That Respects the Soil, the Environment and the Vine
We import wines from Australia, California and South Africa. Why those three countries you may ask rather than Europe? Well, they’re all rather wonderful to visit for a holiday, but above all, this is where we really believe some of the most exciting wine is being produced today.
All of the winemakers we work with farm organically and sustainably, with the same attention, light touch and care in the cellar. For us, this is the only way. Natural wine may have become somewhat of a fashionable phenomenon in recent years, but for us and our winemakers, this way of farming and the minimal intervention journey from vine to bottle is the only way. The utmost care for the soil, the ecosystem and its biodiversity, farming without pesticides or chemicals, and farming for the future of the vine and the land. In the cellar, winemaking is simple and basic – often by hand and without additions other than minimal effective sulphur – some not even at all.
The wines are unique, delicious, clean and stable — just the way great wine should be!
We are keen to limit our portfolio to about 30 winemakers as we feel any more than this, we risk to lose the personalisation and passion which make our wines so unique. Sometimes, we receive just 60 bottles of wine for the whole of the UK, so availability is limited and exclusive. The smallest and most interesting parcels are channelled towards our Nekter24 Subscription service.
