TUE 24 MAR – SAT 4 APR 2026

14:30 | 19:30

£16 – £38

MAIN STAGE

A riotous, razor-sharp, hilarious night out from the team that brought you Abomination: A DUP Opera and Propaganda.

GROUP! fuses a sh*t hot cast, 11-piece band, bright lights, big dance numbers and Belfast’s classic dark humour – bringing together the city’s top talent to make you laugh so hard you wet yourself.

A therapy session spirals into hilarious havoc when a cocktail of deeply dysfunctional and unpredictable personalities collide.

Frank, Jean, Barbara, Chris, and Jackie all have a lot of stuff going on. They’ve spent 15 absurd weeks melting the head off their woefully inept facilitator Emmet – and the cracks are starting to show…

When Amy – a new member with a twisted secret – joins the group, their tenuous bond is pushed to breaking point. Confessions, confrontation, and chaos combine in an outrageous comedy that’s so funny it hurts.

Since its premiere at the Lyric in 2002 Group! has taken the world by storm, playing New York, Philadelphia, Australia, and London.

In 2026, Group! is back and it’s better than ever – featuring the biggest team you’ll see on the Lyric stage this season!

Created & Directed by the award-winning Conor Mitchell, and presented by Belfast Ensemble in association with Lyric Theatre.
