Blank

We paid a long overdue return visit to Blank with a group of friends and had a terrific evening of luxurious food and drink in this highly recommended restaurant.

Blank is about more than just a menu; it is about celebrating exceptional produce and the people behind it. Blank works with suppliers, farmers, and growers, big and small, from all provinces of Ireland and has made a promise that the menus will focus on produce from this island.

We won’t go into detail about the dishes, as the surprise element is a huge part of the Blank experience, but hopefully this reel will give a flavour of our evening.

Brownies On The Hill

It was a pleasure to be invited down to see the new premises of Brownies On The Hill and meet Christine and the team. These guys have a real passion for baking and have a range of brilliant products; Christine truly is living her dream job!

Brownies On The Hill is located at the Inspire Business Park on the Carrowreagh Road (just outside Dundonald heading towards Newtownards) and is open to the public serving homemade savoury and sweet treats.

We sampled some of their @hubcoff159 toasties-the cheese toastie is fantastic! What a cheese-pull! Also, the bakes are all created on site by the team using quality ingredients such as real butter and homemade caramel. The range is ever-changing and expanding as new and inventive flavour combinations hit the shelves.Ā  We tried their caramel brownies, mint aero biscoff, caramel squares, the new raspberry and white chocolate cookies, dime muffins, caramel muffins and lemon drizzle cake. Irresistible! We so needed a cycle home after all that!Ā

Brownies On The Hill supplies many coffee shops around Northern Ireland and is continuing to expand, so you may well have tasted their bakes at your local café without even realising it.
