Having successfully launched restaurants on the Ormeau Rd and in Belfastās city centre, Mizoās latest venture is Mizo Luxe, a brilliant Asian fusion venue in East Belfast.
The relaxed vibe is perfect for an informal dining experience in cool, contemporary surroundings, and we thoroughly enjoyed the dishes on the launch āPrix Fixeā menu which is excellent value for money and available now.
All the plates were very good indeed; to start, golden, crunchy Tempura Prawns, sticky Sesame Cauliflower Wings in a Manchurian style sauce, and steamed Vegetable Gyoza.
We also enjoyed the stir fried Phad Krapow Prawns with rice, but our favourite dish was the terrifically tasty Teriyaki Tofu with an Asian Greens Salad. Utterly delicious!
Although Mizo Luxe is licensed, the restaurant is BYOB for a small corkage charge, and keep your eyes peeled for exciting plans ahead; new A La Carte and Lunch Menus, Bottomless Brunches, Cocktails, and other surprises!

Cul-Erg House & Kitchen in Portstewart, is our go-to breakfast spot on the North Coast. All produce is locally sourced, & thereās a pretty courtyard to enjoy in the summer. All dietary requirements are well catered for; we had a delicious vegetarian breakfast with herby homemade meat-free sausages, fluffy omelettes with savoury fillings, a traditional full fry-up, & a breakfast special of crispy bacon, brie, & salsa on sundried tomato & feta bread with poached eggs.
