2Taps Winebar & Restaurant in the heart of Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter, boasts one of the city’s largest outdoor terraces, creating the atmosphere of summer even in the depths of December, and we love the warm welcome, Mediterranean vibes, and delicious sharing plates.
We began with one of our favourites-Panes Planos; grilled flat bread, with basil pesto, aioli, smoked sundried tomato & black olive tapenade, and Pimientos del Padrón with grated Manchego & sea salt.
This was followed by a selection from the tapas menu: Brocheta de Pollo-a grilled Cajun spiced chicken skewer, Gambas Pil Pil, Calamares, and Pescado del dia frito-a beautifully pan seared fillet of seabass with tomato, chilli & sweetcorn salsa.
All accompanied by Patatas Bravas, Ensalada Halloumi, and a large jug of Sangria, this was the perfect way to beat the blues on a chilly winter’s night!
