Duad presents: Jumon = Jumon X Duad
Due to popular demand, the brilliant Jumon X Duad pop up on the Belmont Road has been extended until 13 November.
This latest culinary collaboration at one of our favourite East Belfast eateries is the perfect match; Duad with its cool, contemporary vibe, excellent wines, cocktails and vinyl grooves,and the incredible meat-free Asian fusion dishes for which Jumon has become renowned.
We ordered some drinks: “Infante” with tequila, orange blossom & almond, and a bourbon based “Peach Better Have My Money”, with a few “Smalls” to share-a phenomenal Turnip and Doenjang Dip with chilli oil, stir fry greens, furikake, sesame and popadoms, and delicious Jiaozi dumplings with carrot, chinese leaf & mushroom, served with kimchi & jade mayo.
To follow, Chaat Me Up-chaat masala, red onion, chilli, yogurt, tamarind reduction & coriander chutney, and a “Big” of stunning Mandu Tacos: yunnan eggplant, asian green, mushroom, avocado, salsa verde, truffle, & furikake.
To finish, a decadent Dark Moon chocolate mousse on miso brownie & raspberry.
The pop up is running until 13 November, Monday & Thursday-Saturday from 1700, and Saturday lunch.
