Cafe Melrose on Belfast’s cosmopolitan Lisburn Road, has a great new lunch menu, and we were delighted to have been invited to try some of the latest additions!
From full Melrose Fry-Ups and Breakfast Wraps, to Avocado Sourdough Toast and Pesto Chicken, there’s something for everyone.
We had the incredible Spice Bag Fries; a huge bowlful of Crispy Chicken pieces on Crunchy Fries & Crispy Onions, & drizzled with creamy Curry Mayo, and the delicious Veggie Muffin with Grilled Halloumi, Hash Brown, Veggie Sausage, oozy Fried Egg and tangy Relish in a Toasted Muffin.
And for those looking for a sweet treat, a brand new dish, which we were lucky enough to enjoy a sneak preview of, is the phenomenal French Toast featuring Buttery Brioche Bread with Whipped & Salted Honey Butter, and Fresh Honeycomb, sprinkled with spicy Cinnamon Sugar and zingy Lemon Zest, surrounded by Strawberry Compote. So decadent!
