We were invited to Tasty Nosh takeaway deli & treat bar on Church Lane to sample their new Chip Cones. Available with a variety of toppings, these yummy āpokesā are great value at Ā£3.50, or two for Ā£6.50. We had the Garlic Mayo & Cheese, and Sweet Chilli options which absolutely hit the spot!
From Breakfast Baps to Soups & Bagels, from Toastie Melts to Salads & Sandwiches, Tasty Nosh has something for everyone. We also had a Glazed Caprice Ciabatta Melt to share, packed with mozzarella, tomato and basil pesto, & drizzled with balsamic glaze.
We then cycled home laden with homemade sweet treats; moist Fifteens, and Brownies topped with Caramilk, Freddos, and Fryās Peppermint Cream, perfectly baked with a soft, fudgy centre.
Outside catering is also available, including Sandwich & Breakfast Platters & Cheese Boxes, and from this weekend, Belfast Pizza Blogger will be āpopping upā on Saturdays, serving delicious Neapolitan style pizza.

We recently enjoyed another great meal at this modern European restaurant serving steak & seafood in a relaxed atmosphere on Holywoodās High Street.
Highlights included the starters of Smoked Salmon Arancini with Thermidor Aioli, Chargrilled Asian Style Squid Salad, and Braised Beef Crubeens with a poached egg.
The Market Fish of the Day was a beautiful whole Plaice in Butter Sauce served with greens and skin-on fries, and both the Roast Silver Hill Duck Breast and Dry Aged Sirloin were perfectly cooked.
And the views of the sun setting over Belfast Lough and the hills beyond are quite delightful.

What a great preview night at Hey Chickās buzzing new restaurant on Botanic Avenue!
This brilliant new 30 seat casual venue has a minimalist, striking, monochrome interior, and more importantly, the terrific Hey Chick! menu we have all grown to love at Common Market and Trade Market.
The specially invited guests enjoyed some terrific choices from Hey Chick!ās famous fried chicken and ājunk foodā menu, including vegan Chick Sticks, Junk Fries, and Korean Fried Chicken Burgers, dripping with sweet and spicy Gochujang sauce.
As of 15th September, Hey Chick! Botanic will be open from 12:00 until 22:00 7 days a week. We wish Mark, Joe, Michael, Oisin & the Hey Chick! team all the very best in their new Botanic venue.
