Specialising in steak and seafood since 2014, Stix and Stones has recently opened a new restaurant in Ballyhackamore, so we had to pay them a visit.
Sourcing ingredients for all dishes from local suppliers ensures freshness & sustainability, and the restaurant works exclusively with Irish farmers for premium beef, and sources high quality seafood from Killkeel, Ardglass and Portavogie.
But Stix & Stones also offers the experience of cooking steaks and seafood on hot stones, adding a fun, sharing element to the meal, and imparting deliciously charred flavours to the food.
From Fresh Oysters au naturale to Crispy Fried Squid, Cajun Prawns cooked on a sizzling stone to crispy skinned Seabass on herbed crushed potatoes, all our dishes were faultless, and the steaks were perfectly cooked to order, or delivered on the stone, the choice is yours.
Desserts are also terrific; Creme Brûlée is always a favourite of ours, and Stix and Stones’ little pot of creamy yumminess comes in a variety of different daily flavour options.
We wish Stix & Stones every success with this new venture, and we’re sure the restaurant will be a huge hit in “The Hack”!
